Gaucho Pampa Alpaca Poncho
The Gaucho Pampa Alpaca Poncho is the most labor-intensive piece in the Stick & Ball poncho line. Handwoven in Peru in 100% baby alpaca using the encajonado technique — in which the design is channeled directly into the loom, requiring many weeks of work per piece tying off each and every yarn. The poncho carries a pattern whose design is a spiritual symbol of the Mapuche people and a pattern recognizable in the equestrian communities of South America. The name "Gaucho Pampa" references the Argentine gaucho tradition — another thread of the equestrian and polo heritage that runs through the brand. A unisex piece easily styled over denim or riding pants, the Gaucho Pampa is the kind of piece that garners admiration. Heirloom quality and designed to last generations.
