Inca Gold Ruana
The Inca Gold Ruana features “la inca” motif, a geometric pattern that has traveled the world and is found across indigenous traditions in Argentina and Peru. The ruana is handwoven in Peru of 100% baby alpaca using the encajonado technique — a traditional Peruvian method in which the design is channeled directly into the loom, each piece requiring many weeks to complete. Each section of the motif is hand-tied individually by Peruvian artisans. The open-front ruana silhouette can be worn with or without a belt. A statement piece that makes the outfit, it is an heirloom that can be used for generations.
