We are delighted to introduce our new Lone Rangers initiative which centers around individuality and the beauty of artisanal craft. Every week, we will feature a product unique to itself — a blemished floor sample, an archived design sample, a treasure found on our travels, or a piece that has its own handcrafted beauty mark — at an exclusive rate.  These products will all be one-of-one originals, so every item is distinctive to each owner.  Through Lone Rangers, we can continue to share our explorative brand history and small pieces of those memories with you.

"The Harriets"

As we love working in rawhide, an untreated material, the patinas will vary greatly from artisan to artisan.   As this batch of belts shows an incredible variance of natural patinas, without our retail store to sift through, it is tough for us to sell these one by one. So instead we are listing them in our Lone Rangers and paying homage to Harriet Chalmers Adams, a female explorer who traversed Latin America on horseback.  She got along just fine "without pink spangly things" and her possession carried their own special patina throughout her travels.

Meet our travel sample Lone Ranger, "Maya", named after one of the greatest women poets and activists to have lived, Maya Angelou. As she once said, "We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty." This beautiful zip clutch is not hiding its markings which are indicative of the life it has lived. Rather, it is reveling in them as it provides a glimpse into the stories it has to tell. All of our leather is vegetable tanned which only gets better with time. Click below to see more images and/or purchase "The Maya"
